Welcome

Welcome to the latest edtion of communique, I trust that you find the content interesting and informative.

As we look towards the latter part of 2011, I am delighted to be able to reflect on a fabulous year for Integra Property Services which has exceeded all of my original business plan expectations in terms of securing new clients, generating revenue and having a fun time!

In fact I have already worked with eleven new business clients this year and 2011 looks as if it will end some 50% up on 2010 in revenue terms and around 28% up on my business plan target.( I have also attended more gigs than in any previous year!)

The property market, as with the general economy, has its challenges, but it is pleasing to see many businesses recognising that they need to adapt to new conditions, change some of the things they do and continually look to be moving forward.

Many of these businesses challenge themselves by entering various industry awards and benchmarking themselves against the very best (including ourselves!).

The last quarter of the year is one of the most popular times for award ceremonies and, as you can see elsewhere in this issue of communique, many of my clients have either been shortlisted as finalists or have been named as winners in a number of competitions. Congratulations to them all.

Happy reading!

Integra - Supplier of the Year Award

egra Alt

Integra are huge advocates of the benefits of entering (and hopefully winning) awards and, as can be seen by a number of articles in this edition of communique, many of our clients are amongst the most recognised award winning businesses in the industry.

Having previously won two ESTAS (in 2006 and 2008) we have, once again, decided to raise our heads above the parapet and enter the Supplier of the Year Award 2012.

Questionnaires have been sent to Integra clients and hopefully, in the face of some undoubtedly impressive competition, we will more than "hold our own" based on the quality of our service delivery.

If you want to get ahead, get a house!

Residential property has shown a greater return on investment over the last 5, 10, 20, and even 50 years, than all the other recognised varieties of investment used by fund managers.

Plans are now well advanced for the Chalfont St Peter Xmas Fun Night on December 2nd as well as next years Feast Day on June 30th.

Tracewise

Alt

I am now working closely with a company called Tracewise who provide estate agents with real time data on property owners including addresses and, in a large percentage of cases, landline and mobile telephone numbers. The information is data protection act compliant and is obtained through cross referencing multiple databases.

The information is particularly useful to lettings agents who are seeking to contact landlords who are not living at the property to be let.

This approach can be very cost effective when compared to traditional methods of trying to identify and approach landlords where agents tend to adopt a "scattergun" rather than "guided missle" approach.

Discounts and postcode exclusivity are available for volume commitments.

The Lettings Academy

The Lettings Academy has recently launched as a subscription based service to lettings agents whereby they can get access to a team of industry experts.

And finally . . .

My friends Bob Ryan, John Tyrell and Lee Heliiar have an innovative property video business called Real Impact Productions.

Below is a link to the first in a recent series of spoof videos (or mockumentaries) that they produced (on behalf of Douglas & Gordon) which certainly got the industry talking!

Actually I'm sure that they've taken some of the episodes from my planned autobiography and just cleaned them up for a wider audience.

Maybe I'll sue!

Enjoy!
